The Manchester of Finland

A few days ago I told you about my weekend trip to the city called Tampere (sometimes we call the city the Manchester of Finland because it has been the center of Finnish industry). This time I'll keep the text very short. I wrote a description of two places worth of visiting if you someday happen to travel to Tampere. 

 

Tällä kertaa pidän tekstin hyvin lyhyenä ja esittelen (varsinkin muille stadilaisille) Tampere-reissuni parhaat kohteet. En ollut koskaan aikaisemmin käynyt Pyynikin näköalatornilla saati Pispalanharjulla, ja voi kuulkaa, olen todellakin jäänyt paljosta paitsi! En meinannut saada tarpeekseni upeista maisemista. Onneksi annoin "Manselle" mahdollisuuden, sillä nyt jo innokkaana suunnittelen seuraavaa reissua sinne!! (Vinkvink sukulaiset ja kaverit jos tätä luette...;))

You definitely should visit the most beautiful place on the earth called Pispalanharju. I couldn't resist the views or cute old houses, i took photos of everything which crossed my road. The old bike idea in the last pictures is a most geniuos recycling idea ever!! I wish that the owner of that house and that gate would know how much I love his/her garden gate...
