January
The year started with my last uni courses which included philosophy, French and Russian. Unfortunately in the end of January I got a bad stomach pain but thought I'd just rest and feel better next day. After seeing a doctor and being moved to the hospital they found out that it could be appendicitis and that was when the long waiting for surgery began. Finally I got the surgery I needed and then I got time for recovery.
Tammikuu
Vuosi alkoi yliopistolla viimeisten kurssien parissa. Opiskelin filosofiaa, venäjää ja ranskaa. Loppukuussa jouduin jäämään töistä ja luennoilta pois ärhäkän vatsakivun takia. Vuosi starttasikin sairaalareissulla ja umpparileikkauksella. Ikuisuudelta tuntuneen odottelun jälkeen pääsin lopulta leikkauspöydälle ja toipuminen sujuikin todella nopeasti.
February
In February we celebrated my dear second cousin's wedding. The day was sunny and snowy - the most perfect winter wedding weather you could imagine!

Helmikuu oli todella ihana ja rakkaudentäyteinen, sillä juhlimme ystävänpäiväviikonloppuna ihanan pikkuserkkuni häitä.
March
This time we celebrated my second cousin's spring wedding.
In March it was time to say good byes to my old job and write the last words into my master's thesis.
April
In April I started my new job! Lots of new things to learn and getting to know new people.
Alkukevät meni todella nopeasti diplomityötäni viimeistellessä. Vaihdoin myös töissä uuteen tehtävään, joten uuden oppiminen sen kuin jatkui. Tällä kertaa vietimme myös toisen pikkuserkkuni keväthäitä, joten juhlatunnelma jatkui.

I graduated!!! I got the degree I've dreamed about since I was just a little girl. Yeah, it was maybe the very highlight of 2016 but also one of the best moments in my whole life!
Toukokuu
Toukokuussa valmistuin diplomi-insinööriksi. Ehdottomasti vuoden kohokohtia, kun tämä pitkäaikainen unelma toteutui.
June
In June my little brother graduated from high school and we had a huge party for him. And a week later we celebrated my Master of Science degree!
Kesäkuu
Kesäkuussa juhlimme sitten tuplasti. Ensin vietimme pikkuveljeni ylioppilasjuhlia ja viikon päästä veljeni hienon suorituksen juhlimisen jälkeen vietimme minun valmistujaisiani.
